Step-by-step guide for downloading and setting up the vCard Generator software:

  1. Purchase and download the software:

    • After purchase, an email will be sent to you with a download link. Alternatively, you can also find the download link in your account on the vCard Fusion website.
    • Download the zip file containing the vCard Generator software.
  2. Unzip the file:

    • Extract the contents of the zip file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Configure the login details:

    • Open the “login.php” file in a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++.
    • Locate the username and password details near the top of the file.
    • Change these to something that would be difficult to guess and make a note of them.
    • Save the file.
  4. Upload the vCard Generator files to your website:

    • Use an FTP client to upload the entire vCard Generator folder (including all of its contents) to your website’s root folder.
  5. Access the login form:

    • Open your web browser and go to the URL for the vCard Generator software on your website. This will typically be something like https://www.yourwebsite.com/vcard.
    • This should load the login form for the vCard Generator software.
  6. Login and start using the vCard Generator software:

    • Enter the username and password you configured earlier.
    • Once logged in, you can start using the vCard Generator software to create and manage vCards.

That’s it! With these steps, you should be able to download and set up the vCard Generator software on your website.

Using the vCard Generator once uploaded

  1. Login: Open the application in your browser and enter your username and password on the login page. Click the “Login” button to access your dashboard.
  2. View existing records: After logging in, you will see your dashboard displaying all your existing vCard records. You can view the details of each record by clicking on it.
  3. Create a new vCard: Click on the “Create vCard” button located on the dashboard. This will take you to a form where you can enter the required information for the new vCard.
  4. Fill out the form: Enter the details for the new vCard, such as the name, company, job title, email, website, phone, mobile, and address. You can also upload a profile picture by clicking the “Choose File” button.
  5. Submit the form: Once you have filled out all the required fields, click the “Save Changes” button to generate the new vCard record. You will be redirected back to the dashboard, where you should see the newly created record.
  6. Copy the link: To share the dynamic vCard page, NFC file, or QR code, right-click on the desired link or image and select “Copy link” from the context menu.
  7. Enlarge QR code: To enlarge the QR code for easy scanning with a mobile device, hover your cursor over the QR code image. The QR code will automatically expand, making it easier to scan.
  8. Edit a vCard: To update the details of an existing vCard, click on the “Edit” button next to the desired record. Make the necessary changes in the form, and click the “Save Changes” button. The updated information will be saved, and you will be redirected back to the dashboard.
  9. Delete vCards: To delete a single vCard, check the box next to the desired record and click the “Delete Selected” button at the bottom of the page. To delete multiple records at once, check all of the boxes next to the desired records and click the “Delete Selected” button at the bottom of the page.

By following these instructions, you will be able to create, edit, and delete vCard records in the application effectively.
