Writing the URL of the vCard to an NFC card or tag
Writing the URL of the vCard to an NFC business card using the NFC Tools app:
Download NFC Tools: Install the NFC Tools app on your smartphone, if you haven’t already. You can find it on the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iOS devices.
Enlarge the QR code: Hover your cursor over the QR code image in the dashboard to enlarge it, making it easier to scan with your smartphone.
Scan the QR code: Open the QR code scanning app on your smartphone, and point the camera at the enlarged QR code on your computer screen. The app will automatically detect the QR code and retrieve the vCard URL.
Copy the URL: After scanning the QR code, the URL for the vCard will be displayed in the scanning app. Copy the URL to your clipboard.
Open NFC Tools: Launch the NFC Tools app on your smartphone.
Prepare to write the NFC tag: In the NFC Tools app, tap on the “WRITE” tab at the top of the screen. Then, tap on the “Add a record” button.
Select the URL record type: From the list of available record types, choose “URL / URI.”
Paste the vCard URL: In the URL input field, paste the vCard URL that you copied earlier. Tap “OK” to add the URL record to the list.
Write the URL to the NFC business card: Place your NFC business card on the back of your smartphone, near the NFC antenna (usually located near the centre of the device). Tap on the “Write” button in the NFC Tools app. The app will then write the URL to the NFC business card.
Verify the NFC tag: To ensure that the URL has been written to the NFC business card successfully, you can use the “READ” tab in the NFC Tools app. Place the NFC business card near the NFC antenna on your smartphone, and the app should display the URL that you wrote to the card.
By following these instructions, you will be able to write the vCard URL to an NFC business card using the NFC Tools app and a QR code scanner.
